I like listening music very much.Especially
pop musicI listen a lot. Person of pop music which I
like is Irish popular singerSinéad O’Connor.
She was born in Dublin on 8thof December
1966. She was third of four children. Whem she was
eight years old, her parents were divorced and she
stayed living with her mother. But she had never get
on well with her, so in 1979 she run away from home,
did not go to school and sometimes stole something
in shops.
When was caught by the police she went
to the house of correction and there she started
playing guitar and composing songs.At the age of
eighteen she went to the London with one big thought:
To became a famous rock’n’roll singer.
She started singing in folk clubs and two
years later she published her first album called The
Lion and the Cobra. This album was very popular and
Sinéad earned a lot of money.Her most popular song
is called Nothing compares 2U from year 1992.
Now she has two children and she had
published six albums. The youngest is called Faith
and courage. She was appointed two Garmmy award
for four times, but she always refused.
I like Sinéad O Connor because in her songs
are elements from a lot of other styles. For example reggae,
jazz, rock n roll, ethnic music,…Her songs are something
between pop, alternative music and Irish folk. I have all
her albums and I think that they are very good and full
of energy.
